Stagmomantis Californica Mantis

As you can see this is a little baby nymph.They are friendly and they are cannibals which they eat meat like flies,spiders,wasps and bees.Nymphs can only eat small food like fruit flies and aphids which are found on roses. 

Adult Mantis eat lizards,flies,spiders,cockroaches and mice(pinkies).Females need more food then males because they got a big abodem then the male.The male bottom looks like the picture near the title.

They call them praying mantis because its two front arms held together like it is praying.They use it to defend themselves from pray or predators such as us.
